Gevrey-Chambertin

Wine vinified and aged in oak barrels for around 15 months. Bright, limpid ruby, it offers spontaneous fruit aromas when young, while maturity gives it a bouquet of licorice with gamey accents and undergrowth. Massive yet velvety, its tannins give it a solid, long-lasting body. Full-bodied and powerful, rich and full-bodied, with a firm structure and velvety tannins.

Accompaniment:

Hairy or feathered game, prime rib, braised lamb, all musky meats, as well as characterful cheeses.
